Northern Transitions, Inc.
Northern Transitions, Inc. is a private, non-profit Michigan corporation that provides a wide range of vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with a variety of barriers to employment who reside in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Services include evaluation, supported employment , community placement and numerous types of employment opportunities within the organization for individuals who require a high level of continued support.

Rehab Services
Individuals who choose our rehabilitation services may work in confidential shredding, recycling, janitorial, custodial or grounds services, or their own microenterprise activities.
Recycling
We recycle: • plastics - # 1-7, but NO Styrofoam; • metals-such as aluminum and tin cans; • glass jars and bottles; • sheet plastic such as shopping bags; • paper; • cardboard and grey board.
Please check our list of acceptable items prior to dropping off your recycling.

Janitorial/ Grounds Services
Individuals in janitorial or grounds services work in a variety of locations in our community.
